Hey and welcome to my shop Southern Craft Gifts!! My name is Katherine (Owner) I am wife and a stay at home mom to two beautiful little girls. I have always enjoyed making items with my hands and now I get to share my love and passion of creating with you.
I started crocheting when I was 8 or 9 years old, like many my mom taught me. My mom only knew the basic stitches and never knew how to read a pattern. Later in my life I was given a bunch of crochet pattern books, so I was determined to learn to read them and ever since then I have been hooked! (no pun intended) I later wanted to learn to knit, I didn't know anyone that knew how, so I asked my mom to get me one of those teach yourself knitting kits, and from there all of my crafty loves exploded.
I have recently started designing my own knit and crochet patterns. So I now have a little to offer everyone.
